Released by Ibanez in Japan, the MC924 is part of the high-end “Musician” series and features neck-through-body construction using a 5-piece maple/walnut neck and (for the 1983 version) a solid ash body.The instrument boasts a 34″ scale length, a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, and was fitted with P-style and J-style Super pickups (Super P5S neck, Super J5S bridge) along with an active 3-band EQ system.

This bass has typical signs of wear from being played for 40 years.The tuners were recently replaced but it is otherwise stock.
